On October 28, 2011, guests will journey through the life of art, from the blank tableau that confronts every artist, through the joys and trials of creation, to the final form that comes before the public. And of course, the Awards Gala will feature the presentation of this year’s awards, including the Established Artist Recognition Awards, the Community Arts and Culture Recognition Awards, The Portia White Prize, The Portia White Protégé Prize and the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia Masterworks Arts Award.
